The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG Villero, vintage 2015 from the winery Sobrero Francesco has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, intense garnet red with a pale rim. Opens with appealing ripe notes, of tree ripe plum and raspberry, underpinned by saffron and blood orange. Shows plenty of savoury, grippy tannin on the palate, pithy, ripe fruit notes, a bit rough on the finish.
