Giuseppe Damonte began making wine in his family business in the 1950s. In the mid-1970s, the winery was renamed Malvirà, after the building that had been erected in the centre of the village of Canale at the end of the 19th century. In 1989, the Malvirà winery was moved to its current location at the foot of the S.S. Trinità vineyard. Massimo and Roberto, the second generation of the family, have inherited from their father a production philosophy that makes the Roero the greatest inspiration. Malvirà offers refined and expressive wines
