The red wine Roero Vigna Mombeltramo DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Malvirà has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, brilliant ruby red with a delicately brightening russet rim. Opens with eucalyptus and mint, a touch of cassis and layered blackberry and raspberry jam. Initially fresh-fruity and clear attractive concentrated palate, shows juicy tannin, tightly woven with plenty of tension, complex and elegant on the finish.
