Christina Hugl and Robert Herbst have been working together since 2016. Christina is known for her pétillants naturels and sparkling wines made using traditional methods. As a counterpart to sparkling wines, Robert Herbst is dedicated to Kamptal still wines.
Since 2020, they have been producing a regional wine and two Ortswein wines - naturally from Langenlois, where Robert Herbst and Christina Hugl live. The organically farmed vineyards are also located around Langenlois. Their motto: if agriculture, then together with nature and in harmony with the environment. And so a circular economy is the goal, and their own sheep help them with the mowing and with their "fertiliser".
The "autumn" wines are characterised by fruity elegance, like the "Langenlois". Complex minerality with notes of caramel can be found in the "Langenlois Reserve" - you will discover this as soon as you smell it in the glass! The Langenlois soils offer a good mixture of loess on the surface and weathered primary rock soils in the depths. This also results in the complexity of Grüner Veltliner, whose roots reach 20 meters deep, making it universally applicable and the perfect accompaniment to food. For Austrian and international cuisine, but also when drunk on its own, it always cuts a fine figure! New are Tonstück No.1, a natural wine from the Müller-Thurgau grape variety, and a rosé from Pinot Noir.
