If you consider that a winemaker produces around 40 vintages in their lifetime, then Michael Krauß from Winzerhof Krauß in Abtswind, Lower Franconia, is still at the very beginning of his career: in 2020 he produced his very first vintage at just 18 years’ old, and with the 2022 vintage he has now reached his third. The talented young winemaker once again proves his knack for the Franconian favourite varieties Silvaner and Müller-Thurgau, which he brings to the bottle with earthy, herbal notes and mineral savouriness. Keep up the good work!
