Rich, bright golden yellow in colour. A restrained bouquet at first, then aromas of apple cider, dried apricot, toasted bread and a little smoked bacon unfold. There's a delicate mousse on the palate, which is full-bodied with a grippy texture that is supported by a saline character and elegant acidity. Delicate, tart notes of black tea and orange zest linger on the finish.
