Light salmon pink with copper reflections and a fine mousse. Inviting fresh wild berries, some currants and cassis and white apple on the nose, underlaid with meadow herbs. It's complex, juicy and vinous on the palate with a core of red cherry fruit, lively acidity, and fruity finish. The mineral aftertaste shows good length, with some savoury notes and an echo of red berries. A versatile food companion with certain ageing potential. (PM).
