The red wine Loto Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Villa Santo Stefano has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby red. Very savoury nose of pepper, graphite, hint of tar, balsamic and with some aeration blackberry and black currant cordial. Earthy notes on the palate, pithy tannin, very salty in the background with good drive on the finish.
