There are classic aromas of berry fruit, cherry notes, plus an ethereal spiciness, and smoky hints. It is medium-bodied on the palate, with a character somewhere between elegant mellowness and rustic charm. It has a pronounced ripe acidity, fine tannins, and cherry and plum notes, as well as a salty impression on the finish.
