Tasting from 19.04.2024: Gerhild Burkard

Demanding nose of yoghurt, wet earth, which develops very positively with air into a multi-layered bouquet of white flowers, pomello, pear and savoury quince. Deep on the palate with lots of fruit, fine tannins and beeswax. Energetic dark minerality with great depth and length. A versatile, sophisticated, still youthful wine with great ageing potential. Decanting recommended.
