The red wine Mas Vilella negre, vintage 2021 from the winery Acústic Celler has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sumoll from the region Catalunya in Spain.
On the nose, an almost port-like cherry fruit, mulberry, blackberry confit, some nougat and tobacco. In the mouth, the wine exposes a mellow, immensely dense tannin that is flawlessly ripe and integrated into a robust body. The wine's excellent aromatic ageing potential allows the technically high alcohol to remain inconspicuous in sensory terms. A powerful red with an authentic, original character and very good prospects for further development.
