The red wine St. Magdalener Classico Südtirol DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Ansitz Waldgries has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Vernatsch, Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby red with a slightly brighter rim. Subtle aromas of red currant, fresh cherry and white pepper, with a bay leaf aftertaste. It stretches across the tongue with tension, filling the mouth and rich, tightly woven, finely interwoven tannins with a lingering finish.
