The red wine 25 Anni Montefalco Sagrantino DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Arnaldo Caprai has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sagrantino from the region Umbria in Italy.
Shiny, rich ruby. Compact nose with notes of blueberry and plums, in addition slightly resinous components. Spreads out powerfully on the palate, certainly has a lot of dense tannin, but also the fullness and ripe fruit to integrate the whole, flows along for a long time, some cinnamon on the finish.
