Brilliant, rich ruby colour. Compact nose with notes of blueberries and plums, as well as slightly resinous components. Spreads powerfully on the palate, certainly has a lot of dense tannins, but also the fullness and ripe fruit to integrate the whole, lingers for a long time, with some cinnamon on the finish.
