The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Badia a Coltibuono has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero, Colorino, Ciliegiolo from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a glittering core. Slightly closed on the nose, reveals only a delicate hint of geranium and alcohol. Slightly vegetal on the palate and therefore harsh, but very juicy and with somewhat broad tannins. Lingering finish.
