It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero, Mammolo, Colorino, Pugnitello , Ciliegiolo, Malvasia Nera from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, radiant ruby red. Ripe raspberry and strawberry on the nose, delicate savouriness on the finish. Opens up on the palate, initially red berry-like and fruity with fine salt and tightly woven tannins. It becomes somewhat broad-meshed and dragging in the second half.
