The red wine Contrada Dafara Galluzzo Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Benanti has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright, light garnet red with orange reflections. Lots of red fruit on the nose, with a slightly herbal edge on the finish. Juicy and fresh on the palate with tension and elegance through to the well balanced, long finish. Still has a lot of ageing potential.
