Rather cool vintage, light rainfall in August, but then warm and dry for the harvest; harvest begins on September 19. Clear ruby colour. Lots of clear cherry on the nose, plus some cranberry and goji berry. Shows great tension on the palate, juicy, well-integrated but still very noticeable acidity, fine-meshed tannins, lots of clear fruit, with a finish of sour cherry.

Beautiful play on the palate, clear, memorable fruit, especially cherry, also raspberry, then opens up with fine-grained tannins, lots of juiciness, salty and with a long finish.
