Tasting from 10.02.2017: Peter Moser und Ulrich Sautter

Deep ruby with an opaque core and purple reflections. Fine oak nuances, dark berry fruit, fine hints of liquorice and candied violets, some vanilla and tar. Powerful, complex extract sweetness, vivid, supporting tannins, which are well integrated, ripe cherry on the finish, mineral, safe maturity and certain ageing potential.

Noble wood, coconut and tropical woods, some cassis and violets, slightly tarry notes, full-bodied, soft approach, a lot of pressure from fine-grained, crumbly tannins, well-covered alcohol, quiet, unaffected materiality, dense to chew, underlying juicy fruit, wine rich in potential and substance with mineral notes and already great length.
