The red wine Amancaya Gran Reserva, vintage 2013 from the winery Bodegas Caro has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser und Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Southern Mendoza in Argentina.
Tasting Notes
Strong carmine garnet, violet reflections, delicate brightening at the rim. Ripe soft cherries, a hint of coconut and vanilla, underlaid with black berry fruit, mineral, delicate hint of licorice. Juicy, black forest berries, present tannins, lingers, fine sweetness in the aftertaste, spicy finish.
