The white wine Ramon Bilbao Limite Norte, vintage 2018 from the winery Bodegas Ramón Bilbao has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Maturana Blanca, Tempranillo Blanco from the region La Rioja in Spain.
A note of lovely, golden pear skin blends with ripe lemon and dried lemon peel. The palate is wonderfully textured with both creamy and hazelnutty aspects and a wonderful but subdued, subtle richness. What marks the wine out though, is a wonderfully serene vein of bright and salty freshness that pervades and illuminates everything. Lovely, refreshing and long.
