The red wine Ramon Bilbao Limite Sur, vintage 2021 from the winery Bodegas Ramón Bilbao has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Garnacha from the region La Rioja in Spain.
A subtle floral note precedes profound notions of red cherry and crushed, ripe plum and forest fruit. The palate is wonderfully pure: the intensity of tart, ripe, juicy plum and crushed red cherry is immense and complemented by hints of nutmeg and allspice. The tannins are silky and the translucent body is characterised by vivid fruit, wonderful depth, real freshness and lovely length.
