Tasting Notes
Deep ruby garnet with purple reflections and a slight rim brightening. The nose is underlaid with a fine herbal savouriness, underneath black forest berry jam and candied blackberries. A subtle woody note emerges. The palate is substantial - full of black cherries, some licorice and fine, well fitted tannins. There's a lively structure and well-defined fruity aftertaste, whilst a pleasant minerality brings freshness. Lingers well on a fruit-driven finish.
