Straw yellow with a subtle rusty sheen. On the nose, ripe apple, toasted hazelnuts, quince jelly and a touch of meadow herbs. Light tannins on the palate, the ripe apple notes again, slightly salty and leaning towards an oxidative style, grippy but slightly restrained on the finish.
