The sweet and dessert wine Picolit Friuli Colli Orientali DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Butussi has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Picolit from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Intensely radiant copper gold with red accents. Inviting, fragrant notes of stewed fig and preserved peach, a hint of nutmeg and delicate forest honey. Wraps the palate in a fan of pickled fruit, very complex, polished, elegant with a fine acid nerve, harmonious and long finish, great interpretation.
