The sweet and dessert wine Picolit Friuli Colli Orientali DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Butussi has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Picolit from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Bright intense amber. Finely marked, intense nose with notes of fresh date, some dried fig, quince and candied orange peel, in the background hints of cinnamon. Round and balanced on the palate, notes of light honey, again a lot of date, a little quince in the finish, reverberates long.
