Bright, powerful ruby with a slight garnet rim. Opens with slightly earthy notes, some beet, carob, then lots of blackberry and plum, some tobacco. Dense, gripping tannins on the palate, lots of dark berry fruit, a fine texture finish, can still mature for a long time.
