The sweet and dessert wine Vendemmia Tardiva Moscadello di Montalcino DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Capanna has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Moscato from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright gold with a touch of amber. On the nose, sealing wax, then light iodine notes, very savoury with notes of cardamom and white pepper, dried figs, dates, dried apricots, oak, low alcohol. Rich on the palate, milk chocolate, dried figs, very ripe peaches, subtle bitter notes, and discreet tannins on the finish.
