The red wine Karal Pinot Noir DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Castel Sallegg has been rated in 2022 by Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blauburgunder from the region South-Tirol in Italy.
Very intense ruby red. On the nose, a bouquet of very ripe fruit, wilted flowers and some cedar wood notes. Dense and round in the mouth, with a good tension where the cherry note dominates and a savoury finish with excessive toasted aromas.
