The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Castello della Paneretta has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino from the region Chianti in Italy.
Bright ruby red with subtle brightening on the rim. Extremely expressive on the nose, with notes of milk chocolate, mint, eucalyptus, liquorice and blackberries. A huge wine on the palate, the aromas echoed in the flavours, plenty of tannin, but unfortunately a bit drying, lacks overall balance.
