Rich, sparkling ruby purple; subtle notes of pepper and cinnamon, then lots of ripe plums, some blackberries; juicy fruit on the palate, unfolds with grippy, gripping tannin, some licorice, lots of rich cassis, fine sweet fruit melt in the finish.
