The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Castello di Bossi has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Elegant ruby red colour with brightening rim. Invitingly sweet nose of cherry confit, juniper and nutmeg, with subtle cedar. Velvety texture on the palate, with fine fruit texture, polished tannins, balanced, but seems a bit bitter towards the end.
