The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva Berardo, vintage 2013 from the winery Castello di Bossi has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby with fine garnet rim. Very clear and vivid nose, rich aromas of raspberries and blackberries, some fennel seed; exciting. Round and smooth on the palate, opens with fine ripe fruit, again lots of blackberries, very polished tannin, long finish.
