Brilliant ruby with a light garnet rim. Releases with pronounced smoky notes, then lots of raspberry and cassis, some tobacco. Dense tannins on the palate, finely interwoven, full-bodied, salty, fine fruit, firm pressure on the finish, but also quite rough.
