Clear ruby with light violet shimmer. Opens with notes of smoke and leather, emphatic earthy components, then a lot of dark currant, balsamic notes. Very juicy and clear in approach and course, very well worked out fruit, dark currant, grippy tannin, which unfortunately becomes a bit sandy on the finish.
