Tasting from 08.08.2021: Anne Krebiehl MW

A touch of earthy, almost flinty reduction plays on the creamy nose. As this dissipates a gentle, oaky smokiness becomes apparent. The palate shows real concentration and has something almost steely ans sleek about it, there is real substance and a lovely, almost pithy texture reminiscent of almond skin. A very elegant, sophisticated wine that should be served alongside food. Lovely now, will evolve. A.K.
