The aroma is intensely chalky with slightly nutty and ripe spices and a hint of tertiary undertones. On the palate, this is a decidedly vinous Champagne with a fine, yet compact and persistent mousse, fresh acidity and good body. A taut, full-bodied Champagne that is recommended as an accompaniment to food.
