Tasting Notes
Dark ruby red with purple hues, subtle brightening on the rim. Intense roasted aromas, some caramel, red berry confit, attractive oak notes. Powerful, fine fruit sweetness, ripe tannins, savoury on the finish, subtle nougat in the aftertaste, oranges and cardamom, a salty minerality, good further ageing potential, typical in its rustic style. Already drinking well, but better to wait.
More about the tastingDelicately floral, fine dark berry fruit, delicate herbal spice, some nougat. Juicy, delicately spicy, elegant texture, very harmonious, fine hint of cassis, wonderfully structured, resting in itself, very fine definition and length.
