Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, brightening on the edge. Fine cassis, black cherries, a hint of liquorice, nuances of cedar and incense, exotic woods, candied violets in the background, candied mandarin zest. Juicy and elegant, ripe black cherries, round, integrated tannins, fine nougat, pleasant acidity, mineral and very finely-meshed, shows elegance and length, has an incredible texture and complexity, silky body and convincing length. Simply delicate. (2030-2060).
More about the tastingDark ruby garnet colour, opaque core, purple reflections and faint ochre rim. Inviting aromas of dark berries, black cherry, fine savoury notes, a hint of nougat, candied orange zest with cardamom and tobacco in the background. Juicy on the palate with good complexity, fine cherry fruit, silky tannins, fresh acidity, sweet cherry and salty minerality on the taut finish. Very long and quite light-footed, and certain to age beautifully for decades.
