The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona has been rated in 2026 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Montalcino in Italy.
Brilliant ruby with a pronounced garnet rim. Intense nose, opens with notes of dried rose petals, then plums, dark cherry and some nougat. Polished and fine in attack and finish, lots of fine-meshed tannins, salty, a pleasure to drink.
