Slightly hot on the nose, dried plum, a cooking note and new wood aromas ranging from cigar box to nut nougat. The palate opens sweetish, then (wood) tannins and juicy fruit keep the powerful alcohol in check, ripe acidity supports it, the wine ends fiery, with sweet fruit and dense extract.
