Tasting from 14.07.2020: Ulrich Sautter

An already well-developed spiciness, almost petrol, malty, strong wood accent, nougat, with air contact then increasingly ethereal-herbal-spicy, menthol and fisherman's. Round and melted on the palate, juiciness, textured and mellow tannin intertwine, the acidity has presence without being isolated, the fruit shows its ripeness with grace. Slightly salty at the end. Very good length.

More about the tasting

Very fresh cassis aroma, blackberry leaf tea, a hint of mint. Strong body, good juiciness as a balance to the alcohol, mealy tannin beginning to crumble, rather restrained acidity, medium-weight finish fruit.
