The red wine Barolo Sorì Ginestra DOCG, vintage 2009 from the winery Conterno Fantino has been rated in 2013 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Clear ruby-garnet colour. Opens with fine savoury notes on the nose, some white pepper, then lots of ripe fruit, especially raspberry and plum, with liquorice in the background. Rich, gripping tannins, builds well, very full-bodied, spans a wide arc, very good depth on the finish, long finish.
