The red wine Barolo Sorì Ginestra DOCG, vintage 2011 from the winery Conterno Fantino has been rated in 2015 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Finely marked, fragrant nose, presents itself with lots of raspberry and cherry, underpinned by notes of cardamom and star anise. Smooth on the palate, lots of dense tannin with a sweet core, long and balanced, sails along quietly, long finish.
