The red wine Barolo DOCG Ginestra Vigna del Gris, vintage 2017 from the winery Conterno Fantino has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Opens up to a potpourri of truffles and iron on the nose, with rich cherry fruit and elegant savouriness. Dense and polished on the palate, elegant, with grippy tannins and plenty of tension, still seems young, put it away and enjoy it to the full in a few years.
