The red wine Barolo Vigna del Gris DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Conterno Fantino has been rated in 2014 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Intense, flint ruby-garnet colour. Fine, fragrant nose with pronounced notes of preserved cherries, some cinchona bark and dried orange peel. Firm, dense tannins on the palate, builds up in many layers, sweet texture at the core, ripe fruit, firm drive on the finish, savoury.
