The orange wine Lerchensand sylvaner, vintage 2022 from the winery Domaine Ansen has been rated in 2026 by Romana Echensperger, Valentine Mühlberger with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Alsace in France.
Slightly cloudy, orange-colored. Powerful aroma with hints of rubber and ripe fruit, plus quince, quince jelly, aniseed and white pepper. Meadow herbs, ribwort plantain and grassy notes characterize the bouquet. Dry, with fresh acidity, fine-grained tannins and a subtly tart note. Firm, grippy orange wine with good structure and a long finish, rather rustic in style overall.
