Tasting Notes

96+
Tasting from 31.12.2019: Ulrich Sautter

Very closed, a spicy background, liquorice, allspice, with aeration some lime blossom. Phenolic aromas, firm on the palate, still very compact, excellent fruit, mineral based, firm seamlessly integrated acidity, the alcohol gets a little "warm" on the palate, but the balance is already there. It has power, length, and is all very vivid and homogeneous with great ageing potential.
