Dark ruby garnet in colour. The aroma is on the spicy side: pepper, bourbon vanilla, cloves, plus plum and Amarena cherry. Continues to develop with air. Powerful and dense on the palate, again with distinctive spiciness and perfectly ripe fruit. With ripe, well-integrated acidity and fine, superb tannins, it lingers for a long time.
