Tasting Notes
Ripe black cherry opens the nose and then expands almost into boiled sweet fruitiness. Hints of clove and cinnamon harmonise well with the ripeness of the fruit. The palate comes across as fresher, even though the fruit is ripe, rounded and the tannins are plush, the mouth keeps watering. A juicy, concentrated package that is just a little more spirited than your usual Chambolle. A.K.
